On April 27 and 28, 2022, the Linguistics University of Nizhny Novgorod and the LUNN

Institute of Continuing Education host the International Research and Practical Conference

"Continuing Education 4.0: Challenges, Trends, and Strategies of Future Professionals Training"

We invite:
  • professors, tutors, senior and junior administrative staff of various educational institutions (universities, colleges, comprehensive schools, vocational schools, postgraduate and further education institutions);
  • experts in education and professional counselling;
  • researchers and scholars;
  • undergraduates and postgraduates;
  • schoolchildren and vocational trainees;
  • anyone interested in the conference agenda.

Track 1. Ecosystems in Continuing Education 4.0: A Concept of the Present and Future:
  • from a knowledge accumulation model to a continuing competence update model;
  • lifelong learning: a new paradigm for sustainable development;
  • individual educational routes, modular structure of educational programs;
  • new paradigms of relations between education suppliers and consumers;
  • interdisciplinary approach in education;
  • networking between Russian and foreign academia and industrie
Track 2. Digital Infrastructure as a Development Factor for Continuing Education 4.0:
  • digital learning environment (DLE) as a must and a driver in modern continuing education;
  • distance education technologies (DET) and interactive teaching tools in educational environment;
  • artificial intelligence (AI) in education;
  • micro-learning as a new educational technique;
  • prospects of hybrid vs. blended learning;
  • designing digital infrastructure for hybrid and blended learning;
  • digital technologies as a modern continuing education profile
Track 3. Continuing Upskilling and Reskilling of Academic Staff and Education Managers for the Future:
  • new requirements to schoolteachers in the context of education individualization and interdisciplinarity;
  • digital technologies, modern techniques and new methods in school and vocational training;
  • continuing upskilling and reskilling of education managers;
  • general issues of creating an ecosystem and a modern infrastructure in schools.
Track 4. Continuing Education Culture: Work 4.0 Trendsetting:
  • current and future working environment trends;
  • modern requirements to school education for future career prospects;
  • school education tailored to individual needs;
  • continuing education for schoolchildren and vocational trainees: talents development and professional chances diversification.
In the framework of Track 4 schoolchildren and vocational trainees are invited to share their vision.

Registration and submission guidelines

Registration for the conference and the professional training program closes
on April 20, 2022. The program will be emailed to all the registered participants until April 24, 2022.

Please submit your papers to ino@lunn.ru. The proceedings will be published immediately after the conference.
The participants for whom it will not be possible to prepare their papers until the beginning will be given an opportunity
to publish in the next volume.The Organizing Committee reserves the right to reject any submission
that does not meet the conference agenda or formatting requirements.

Offline participants will receive participation certificates and professional training
certificates as a hard copy. Online participants will receive participation certificates
and professional training certificates as an electronic copy via email.
